If you're talking about the Keystone pipeline, it wouldn't go near the water. There are already hundreds of miles of pipeline. The proposed pipeline would create thousands of jobs and make the oil delivery more efficient. This is a political move on Obama's part - has nothing to do with his "environmental agenda". And he still drives around in a car that gets 3 mpg.
The video is related to the Northern Gateway Pipeline to the BC coast. I am well aware of the Presidents shortcomings and the reason he put a hold on the Keystone pipeline. I also know that it would cross or go near many water bodies, the most critical one being the aquifers of Nebraska. I also know that there have been many leaks for these present pipelines and I do not believe that the jobs out way the effects in the environment, that includes the Alberta tar sands.
