Waiting for the warm front.

It's the fourth day of searching for the water line break, warmed up to minus the mid high teens. The council guys have narrowed the location of the break down to about 35 feet. First picture shows a hole up near the man hole, second picture is of the guys [working through lunch break] with jack hammers. The ground is like granite, very hard and slow going. At the first hole the frost varies from about 3 feet down to 4 feet in places.


Below shows water coring [freezing on top of ice] at the old dam, very useful for fresh skating surface for some.
