Mish mash.

The forecasts are for things to warm up some in most of Labrador, western is supposed to get in the pluses and rain, hope it does not, especially for us. By the look of it we will miss most of the warming trend again, but snow in in the offing.

It has been in the -28 range constant for 2 days, has not been above -18 for twelve days. The upside is the winds have been light to moderate, so minus in the teens will seem like a heat wave, and the snow will be much appreciated, especially for the parents of all the kids wearing the knees and arses out of their new snow pants.

There is a small belly laugh to be had reading this, if you can put aside for awhile you may be using a drum of oil a week @ $262.00 a drum, anyway laughing is good for you, even when in pain, so go ahead and bloody laugh your heads off.
For yesterdays evening meal I decided to have something different. I marinated some pork ribs overnight in a mixture of a dry rub and some sweet/sour liquid. I cooked them on low heat for about 4 hours.
For the vegetables I cooked up a small cabbage in beer and apple, plus other stuff, we had garlic potato/sweet potato mash with it, not bad but for some reason not quite what I was expecting, could be the weather, eh?
Unrelated to above; there is a headline lurking out there some place that says-'Reeking of Booze'.

would be nice to win a tank of home heating fuel on the fossils fools gold game. : )

looks like this week we'll be seeing the plus side here so that should keep my consumption down a bit.
