the weather [SNOW] was the main topic of conversation on the streets and in the stores yesterday. “Nice to get the snow boy”, hope the wind don’t blow it all away”, it’s too fluffy, needs some wet stuff so it sticks and don’t blow away”.
Any way the general consensus is that any snow is better than what we had. Official we had 3.8mm, unofficial 15cm, I’m going with the unofficial seeing it was light fluffy stuff and about 90% of light fluffy stuff is air. If the unofficial is correct we broke a record too.
Personally I feel way more comfortable within myself even with this small amount of snow, so physiology does come into play, or was it the vodka martini?
Some more background on the thunder snow in Rigolet yesterday, CBC had a good coverage, it being something that most of us had never heard of before.
