My kingdom for a decent tomato.

I guess due to the holidays we have not had a shipment of fresh fruits and vegetables since before Christmas.
Not that we are going to starve for sure, along with the well stocked process foods section there are large amounts of tined stuff, plenty of the staples like spuds, carrot, turnip, cabbage and lots of apples and oranges [not sure how long they have been there]. Then there is the country food, that’s if you have some in the freezer or can afford to buy the gas for your snowmobiles to go get some.
Latest is that a truck from Montreal is due in Goose Bay Monday morning with a fresh shipment. Can’t blame truckers for not wanting to be away from home on holidays. Plus the weather down that way has been the pits, the long gap will just make whatever comes in taste all that much sweeter, or not.
