red berries in a muffin. I have had that childhood saying going through my head all day since having a muffin with my morning coffee, man they are good.
Neglected to post pictures of the only great gran kid to visit us on Halloween, not sure what happened to Enrique.
Terrence was a robot. Siutik thought his treat bag looked interesting.

*Nothing* like a berry muffin. I'm lucky enough to be able to get wild blueberries from northern Maine for them. I suppose you're not subjected to the big fat dull-tasting cultivated blueberries that most folks here in Boston only know.
Surprisingly they do ship them in here and people buy them, not these dudes though.
Those berry muffins do look good! What is your base muffin recipe? These look really nice and light. We have good glut of delicious strawberries at the moment - coming in from WA of all places, including blueberries - of the big fat cultivated kind, but that's ok with me as they are the only kind we have unless you have a bush of your own and live in a cooler climate than Sydney.
What we do have is an overabundance of mangoes this year. All the shops are selling boxes of them for about $15.00. We are seeing more varieties too and they are delicious. I think the Kensington Pride is still my favourtite.
I will send the recipe.
