With a busy day in the furniture assembly line, then moving and cleaning to accommodate the new furniture something easy was in order.
Even though it is considered junk food I think I added a small touch of healthy to it. Coleslaw with home made dressing, whole wheat bun, home made relish, very tasty indeed.
We get a lot of agro from inebriated people on the streets here at times, it has been quite around our home of late but many others are complaining of incidents in their neighborhoods. The noise of it disrupts our lives, not to mention the lives of people who foolishly partake.
Mind you I am no innocent, non the less lessons are supposed to be learnt.
This link to a cab driver down Sydney way gives a good idea of what life is like on the streets of a large city weekend nights. The audio is particularly poignant.
Is it worse than when things get out of control here? One way to find out would be for some one to get out and video and audio the action.

Oh they are still here, the big development plans are on hold, held up by the council or rather a reluctance by the saviors to cough up some money for the re survey and public consultations.
The agreement in principal to take environmentally protected land for the project was overturned once the mayor was back in town.
I have a correction on the above comment, the approval in principal given to SLM still stands, it was presented in a form of a motion at a council meeting. Lots of hoops and hurdles and legalese to go through to have it overturned if following the letter of the law, something that does not seem to bother some in other jurisdictions.
