You probably know all this but I was reading today where the lack of winter your way and the bad stuff they have had in Europe is related. Appears the jet stream is blowing the wrong way (warm stuff to you and icy winds to Europe) and the reason has the scientists baffled.
Yes it is the wind currents but the biggy is the flow and temperature of the sea currents. Once all that fresh cold salt water from the arctic stops it's flow to join the warmer waters coming up from the south we are in BIG trouble.
