Day be here some place.
Arh, found em.
Perfect day for picking berries, relatively speaking; there is always the bug issue.
It was nice and breezy when we left, as usual when you get to the good picking spots the breeze miraculously disappears. When you move to higher ground the breeze comes up while walking then gone again as soon as you bend to pick.
Also as usual I forgot to take my bug jacket.
But we have enough for several breakfast and plenty of time for more picking. I still feel the berries are not quite sweet enough yet, but still good.
Siutik, who was up on the hills for the first time, had lots of fun running up and down the hills, bumping into rocks trees and us on the down slope. Pulled like the devil on the way home, hard on the old knees holding her back.

She is old enough to accept basic obedience training.
It would make life easier on both of you.
Obedience school eh? Always had issues with organized schooling, I’m sure I’m not alone there sure.
From what I can gather modern animal obedience techniques means the humans have as much, or in some cases more, to learn than the animal. In Siutik’s case, she being an alpha female, there will be more learning for us/me than her.
When it suites her she goes along with our attempts at obedience.
Our grandson said it best this morning; Siutik is more like a cat. He should know, she led him along Saturday night pretending to be scared of him, then turned around later and gave him what for, not savage but firm and playful.
But we seem to be coming along Ok using older techniques, time will tell.
