The much awaited veterinary clinic [by me at least] that was due for a week hence has been postponed.
Not sure of any details as to why the postponement, it may take place the end of October.
Sure hope small mindedness does not play a role; it would be like throwing a bone over a cliff or something. The betterment of the community should I hope trump any other considerations.
If anything the evidence is all around us that we need something done about loose dogs, especially the young pups. It was fine 15 even 10 years ago to just let young pups roam around, alas times have changed.
I have nothing against young pups, but the owners of the pups could have an updated attitude. The town is a long way from when wheelbarrows were the preferred mode of picking up the weeks groceries. Now we have cars, trucks, ATV’s in large numbers, little pups wondering all over the place and all this traffic [mixed in the pedestrians] just do not mix very well.
Then there are the other issues with pets that could be looked at by the vets.
