Flies were out making it a little uncomfortable for berry picking yesterday. None the less we ventures up anyway. I picked a few red then hunted around for some mushrooms, not to eat but take pictures of.
Here are two views each of the more interesting ones.

I've always been meaning to try wild mushrooms on a pizza, probably fry them a bit first.

Long as you know what your doing they would be great, seeing as we are neophytes with wild mushrooms will give it a pass
Brian, these are super pictures. I've been taking pics of mushrooms and fungi too, I think they are such interesting organisms.
You should post some of these pics on the UBC web site, it's at

and let some of the experts argue over what type of fungus they are.
You have to register first, though. I've posted a few pictures there last week and had some very helpful answers.

Not sure I want to take the risk of eating the shrooms if there is an argument over what they are though.
