RIP.

Sam Anderson of Nain passed away early this morning.

Sam had been in ill health for quite some time being cared for at home by his family and care givers.

Sam was the first president of the LIA, a long time member of the Church and Community Elders in Nain and a very good translator of the Inuktitut language.

The third president of LIA say's Sam was the first, that's good enough for me. It was a little know fact to be honest, Sam was only there as president a short time, maybe an intrim, I'm not sure of the details.

I'm sure his life will be celebrated PD, mahola.

Fond memories of an evening in Postville years back with presidents number 1 and 3 and the OK board. Sam was a fascinating person.
