A new dawn breaks

on communication within Nunatsiavut.

Ok we are over dramatizing a touch but receiving contact from a member of the NG civil service under these circumstances is rather an anomaly, hence the over dramatization.

As mentioned in comments the correct contact numbers for Michel Wood the NG representative on the Nutrition North Advisory board are below.

There is continuing coverage of the House of Commons standing committee hearings into the new program, lots of differing opinions for sure. Be great if we could see some opinions on how it will affect Labrador, too much to ask I suppose, and to be fair not much is know to date.

The photo by the way was taken Friday morning,

I wonder when it will be safe to return to listening and watching the provincial CBC, NTV, VOCM and reading the Telegram.

The programming the last week is particularly disconcerting. I have never brought into the adulation and sickening praise bestowed on politicians; these past weeks have been particularly stomach turning.

From what I can gather the late arrival of the CPP and OAS cheques this week could be tired to new mailing rules introduce by the Feds.

It used to be that the monthly cheques would arrive around the 28th of each month. Not being a receiver of said cheques until recently, but still a casual observer, it seemed that this was fairly consistent.

Now with the changes, whatever they may be, things may be less consistent, only time will tell.
