Just back from Hopedale.

Touch and go it was touch and go before leaving Hopedale, "weather advisory" for Nain with 500 foot ceiling and 3 mile visibility. We took the gamble, sunny patches all the way up then Nain was down in fog just over the town. The pilot did a circle around and by the time we came in for approach it was all clear.

Yesterday morning in Hopedale were were at the airstrip and the plane flew right over us on to north due to fog there.

I have captioned the photo at right, mine mine mine. Fran looks like she has tight control over those trophies sure.

More on that later.

That's good news, no volcanic ash to hold up the flights, just good old fog!
