Seemed like more rain than snow yesterday, none the less there are several inches of white stuff to move this morning, very pretty scene it is too.

Don’t think too many people complaining about this mild spell, except maybe people who want to go hunting and wooding, things will get quite sticky for those folk if another cold spell does not come along soon.
Mean time down under it is getting really hot, +39 where my folks live and 41 in areas around there, good thing they invested in an air conditioner.

Further to yesterdays post, seems some people are talking about suicide, came across a face book site Inuit Regions fighting Suicide Rates, some interesting stuff in there.

We've only had two days over 30c this summer so far and that a bit unusual. Stay tuned.

The continuing suicide drama is really depressing, and it is easy to get depressed about. It represents a failure of government--native and non-native--elites to really roll up their sleeves and start helping people.

It's not jus that we need some kind of "Strategy" or other bureaucratic approach. We need to help young Inuit realize that life, no matter what it throws at you, is an amazing accident that's never going to come around again. We need to help people live the lives they deserve, not the ones they're stuck in.

Thanks for Ross Flowers phone no, I called today, he will call me back when he has more for sale.
The suicides make me very sad. Life is worth living no matter what in my opinion but not everyone feels that way, my family has been touched by this in the past and I have never understood how anyone can take that option.
