Alas I do not see any sanity within the levels of government that make our lives a little less comfortable that it should be.

to be fair, while Cartwright and Black Tickle are fairly close geographicaly, they are worlds apart weather wise. Black Tickle is an island exposed to sometimes severe open sea weather conditions while Cartwright is well inside a sheltered bay. I personally have seen whole weeks of bad foggy, windy weather in Black Tickle when boats and planes are interupted while at the same Cartwright has had sunny calm conditions.
