Thursday was just amazing [yep it was], took the manly ferry across a very flat harbour with the sun shinning and the dolphins putting on a show as we arrived at Manly wharf.
The surf was flat for the most part, this did not deter some folks out on long boards. 
We walked the length of the beach and along the park bordering Manly Lagoon where I almost walked into this spider when I took a track to the waters edge.
It's a clouded over today [Friday] and all the city workers are in coats and jackets, it is supposed to get up to 16 so we will see how we handle this awful winter weather.
