Getting behind in editing all the photos, lots of time when we get home, after we get settled though.
Friday we had a big day as mentioned at the Gardens followed by a quick train trip up to Central and a walk over to Neal's work place, the ABC. Very large building with studios and control rooms too many to count. Fran said to Neal " bigger than CBC back in Goose Bay", quite the understatement that was.
We left the building for train trip back to Wynard just as the rush hour was starting, too much for us to handle those rush hours.
Saturday we did a long walk down to Town Hall, then to Darling Harbor, along the shore walk back to Circular Quay then back up to the hotel.
Of course the walk was broken up with long [seemed to me] interruptions in stores shopping for little trinkets.
Yesterday Pam and Neal picked us up after checking out of the hotel, took a ride over to Wat sons Bay.
We did a bit of a walk along the trails and stopped at lookouts for photo taking, major spectacular views of the harbour [with yachts racing] and out to sea and the rugged coast line.
Later Neal's brother and family came over for a picnic, while there Mark and Olga did a bird rescue operation on a gull [pictures later], then it was off to the fish shop to join the cue.
While attempting to eat a battered prawn a sea gull swooped down from behind and grabbed the prawn, luckily I had a good hold of the prawn, the gull only removed the batter from around tasty morsel.
After a sunny day the clouds moved in and it became cooler so we headed back to Pam's where we will spend two days before heading back to Liverpool.
