Gypsy life did not make a move back to winter HQ, the winds were a bit high so the Paul’s are waiting for a flatter run across the entrance to Nain Bay.

The barge is all loaded up ready for the 1 to 2 knot dash.

As Harald said, “there is no rush, and it is better to be sure of what you are doing thus eliminating any possible problems”. Or words to that effect.

Clear ski’s in December mean lower temperatures, -13 with -20 wind chill early this morning.
Yesterday was a magnificent day, -7 with -13chill.
Some shots of a departing plane and of future Cain’s Quest racers.

Brrrr that looks c-c-c-cold.
Does that Gypsy Life get stored on land for the winter?

I can't believe there is not more media covering Harold and Gypsy Life. Whata guy! A great story too. Thanks for keeping up with them.

Shammie, the Paul’s intend freezing Gypsy Life into the ice and using it as their HQ for the big Canadian Adventure.

Pathfinder; I have no idea why no local media have not picked up on this story; there is a lot of interest in Europe according to the hits on their web site.
Maybe if there was an alcohol and drugs related angle CBC or the Telegram would take notice.

How nice to have roses blooming in December Lynne, sounds like Australia more than Southern Ontario, alas your time will come eh

I emailed Fox again, this time Shepard Smith, who levitates toward these human interest stories. Again, I love the Pics. Thanks for sharing!
