As promised here is the raft that is going to take a 600 Lb ski doo and Komatik back to the Gypsy Life’s winter HQ.








High tide, calm seas and some hail marys are called for.

Why not just ask someone in town to drive it over when the ice is good?

Oh dear. It looks like one of those lashing projects we built in scouting jamborees. I hope it works better then ours did-lol.

That thought had crossed some peoples minds Oldtrout, be a lot safer for him too especially with this global warming type weather we are having.
Rabidly independent comes to mind, besides it would take the ‘adventure’ out of Canadian Adventure.
The raft does look a bit dodgy for the task at hand, but Harald has done all the calculations as to load to weight ratios and all that, he is confident, then he would not be doing what he is doing if he was not I guess.

I'm trying to recall the last adventure get away where pain and physical abuse were a prerequisite. Who said Americans had the market on stubborn independence cornered?-lol
