Yesterday.

Not exactly the sunny Mediterranean is it? Fog, drizzle, more fog, came down thicker later in the day.
This green hulled sloop named Brendan’s Isle [out of Baltimore MD] must have hit a leprechaun or sum’n.
Of course me mentioning the S word would have nothing to do with the weather patterns that seem to be what we will be getting for the foreseeable future.

Now why would a yacht come all the way from Baltimore MD to sail in the cold foggy waters off nain Bay, when he could easily head in the other direction and enjoy some sunshine?

Ex-Sham;
I did say there was an Irish connection.

Seriously though, in past years it was not unusual to see several yachts a year from the south ply these waters, the hardier types enjoy the challenge, not to mention the amazing pristine wildness of place.
One time, yachts coming over from Europe would call in here as the first port of call, for some reason that has stopped, maybe something to do with customs and such.
In keeping with the theme, it is overcast in light rain this morning.
