The char are running, though in fits and starts and kind of small. But that’s not going to stop the action on the shore. Some folks down at Northern Point and ‘Over Cross’ this morning.
I remember the day 10 years ago this week that I got off the plane and was met at the airstrip by Fran Williams and Tony Anderson, then proprietor of Tony Pony Express. The ice was still patchy in the harbour as we drove through town, but there was a line of people over across fishing for char. Hot dang! There's nowhere like Northern Labrador in the springtime of the year. Thanks for the pics and the memories.
