Wind picked up last evening, gusts to 63 clicks, still there is lots of snow around, can imagine the time the ski dooers are going to have in the powder, long as it is out of town that is.

It's a good thing this 'Harper Government' crowd espouse good christian values. Imagine the hanky panky and skulduggery they would be capable of if they espoused atheism or paganism, god forbid.
And that is just the tip of the iceberg, time to wake up Canada, these guys should go the way of the previous Liberals Government, which sort of does not leave many options, does it.

my snow is gradually melting, I'm happy to report. Temps have been above freezing for a couple of days now. And some people have sighted spring bulbs showing their green tips coming up out of the ground, but I haven't seen any persnally, it's just hearsay so far.
Great pictures as always Brian. Here in Snt Jawns, it seems like the end of the winter snow is in sight. (Guess the only snow we have is winter snow, right?) The temps have been pretty good - street shoes for the first time in a long time for me today instead of winter boots. I'm a summer guy who looking forward to those long, lazy days of getting a line into the water.
End of winter is neigh for you all in the south, seems like it is just starting up here, as seen in next post.
