Wetish Wednesday.

Yesterday started out nice, turned wet in the afternoon and evening, light to moderate rain.
The Northern Ranger was about an hour late arriving, many down the dock getting impatient.
Noticed that the anti graffiti crew had been at work here too, could be a bit less free with the paint though.

This junior ‘old man of the sea’ did not give a hoot one way or the other, like many other other kids just doing what kids do in the last days of summer holidays.

When do you usually get the first snow and when does it start sticking?

Gee PD, burst the bubble or whar?, we be trying to not think of the s or ws words just yet.
Truth be told I don’t mind the winters, can get you down towards the end, but then so does most things over time.
We should be snow free for another couple months, some time in November we could get some, wont hang around though. By mid December we want it to stick around as insulation for the ground and around the homes. Does not always happen that way, last few years have been good with some pre Christmas falls, if some one can come up with a way to accurately predict weather they would be in for a fortune.
