So.

The concentrate is off to Europe some place it seems. There is a clause in the VBNC/NL Government agreement that allows them to ship OUT OF THE COUNTRY.

Gonna say wouldn't that be contrary to the original contract? No one knows it is a secret contract?

Alot of good Sudbury and Thompson's workers not processing VBNC ore did.

Here's a selection of talking points from the different PR's and articles I've perused.

The striking workers, who launched picket lines on July 28, are seeking parity in wages and benefits with Inco employees in Sudbury, Ont.

Union officials at Inco smelters in Ontario and Manitoba have vowed not to process concentrate from Voisey's Bay as long as the strike continues.

The company will not say whether a huge ore carrier now at the port will be loaded with nickel and copper concentrate mined before the strike began in late July.

Dawson said mine workers employed by Inco in Sudbury, Ont. earn an hourly wage of at least $24, while their counterparts at Voisey's Bay make only $19 an hour.

"We're just looking for parity with other Inco workers," he said.

"I don't see why people in Labrador should be treated like second-class citizens, doing the same work."

Curl said the company has already brought in replacement workers from Ontario.

"They're here now, they're already at the camp," Curl said early Friday morning. "There was a flight in late last night that nobody knew about."

Inco said the workers flown in Thursday night are security personnel.

Sullivan said the annual value of nickel concentrate coming from Voisey's Bay is worth close to $1 billion.

Finance Minister Loyola Sullivan said a production shutdown at the mine would affect the provincial economy if it drags on for any length of time.

"A stoppage for a period of, let's say up to a month, it would have an overall impact of about 0.2 per cent on our real GDP growth," said Sullivan.

Voisey's Bay nickel operation in Canada. The company has said it loses an estimated 6,000 metric tons of nickel-ore output a day because of the strike, which began July 28.

"What you have to keep in mind is Thompson, Man., is receiving 45 per cent of their production from Voisey's Bay," Ellsworth said.

"So it's not just about Voisey's Bay. It's critical to the Manitoba division, which is why I expect that it won't last that long."

VBNC making 19.00$ hr - Thompson and Sudbury making 24.00$ hr.

5.00$ difference
8hrs day - 40.00$
40hrs week - 200.00$
52 weeks a year - 2,080 hrs
2,080 hrs - 10,400$ year

What's a secret contract?

The conspiracy theories are starting to get ridiculous.
