Musk ox pic, second try.






Tried the long way, it worked. Not sure who to credit the pictures, these via Stephanie and her buddy Val.

Just did a quick Google search for these same pics with no hits. So I figured I'd give you a try and as luck would have it you have some pics.

I first saw these Massive beasts when I did a tour in the Artic on Ellesmere Island Eureka.

They are actually quite tame we got to within 25 metres before they even started paying attention to us. Made for some great pictures.

They would do their form a circle facing out to defend against coyotes wolves and such.

Too bad the old guy is alone pretty hard to form a circle in all around defence by himself.
