It’s the day after yesterday. With Fran at a Heritage Conference in Hopedale it left only Siutik and self left to take a walk in the light rain.

Not sure if the conditions are indicative of the road ahead, slushy dirty snow, spring run off water gushing down the hills. Some heart is taken by the 60% who voted in a common sense way, but that means bugger all with a majority in the hands of a guy like Harper.

I fear I will have ample opportunity in the next years to say, warned ya, or, don’t blame me, go see the other forty percentile.

On local facebookers pages there was some excitement last evening. The famous “ice pilots’ Buffalo Airways was due into Voisey’s Bay. Rumor was to pick up a drill rig and ship it to Yellowknife. No pictures yet.

Sunny this morning and down to -9, that should make for some interesting walking if it stays that low.
