What a great sunny day yesterday, though it did make for tough walking on the roads [getting up to + 5] it was smooth and mainly dry out on the ice.

The weekend usually sees a rise on the roaming dog population, yesterday was no exception.

The little cracky came running and screeching from behind the houses across the road, headed up the road as fast as his little legs would allow.

The husky is my second favorite dog, she is never loose but sort of lacks Siutiks attention, an outside dog would be the best description. Amaruk usually howls and gets excited when we come out the front door wanting us to go visit.

A change for the taste buds from char, partridge, caribou to roast pork loin [bone in] with roasted vegetables and apple sauce last evening.

I am hoping that the 33 to 37% of Canadians have an epiphany with a touch of the common sense variety on the way to the polls today.
