I had requested to see the Captains Navigational Certificates to which he replied "I'll dig them up later " I had also ask to see his Commercial Personal Fishing Licence to which he replied with the same "I'll dig them up later. I laid all my Navigational and Safety Certificates along with my Commercial Personal Fishing Licence out on the dashboard for all crew to see but yet he could not and did not show me nor my fellow shipmates his Navigational Certificates or Commercial Personal Fishing Licence.Upon reaching port in NFLD me and these fellow shipmates had quit due to the fact that this Captain could not prove to any of us that he was qualified to Captain the Fishing Vessel Abigail Grace or even partake in any fishing activity as he could not prove that he was licenced to do either.
I also hope these drunken, immature and ignorant acts that the crew of the Abigail Grace has imposed upon your beautiful little town does not stain all fishermen in your peoples eyes as most of us take great pride in our livelyhood whether it be in our home port or ports abroad, we are professionals and we should act in such manners we in other ports for we would expect that from those who use ours. I wish you and your town all the best and please take care.
Sean Herseynoreply@blogger.com
